Our Story

The Toy Shop opened for business in Peterborough in 1983. We were located on Hunter Street for 40 years, but have since moved to a bigger, better, and brighter location at 180 Charlotte Street in the heart of the retail district. We continue our tradition of carrying quality toys, books, and games from Canada and around the world. These toys inspire creativity, imagination, and delight for all ages.
